• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Would these work on a Spyder?

Don't want to start any controversy...but...

If you read the manual...it says the :spyder2: should not be operated on ice or snow.

There are some who do. And I say...:bowdown::bowdown: to them.

I put mine away when the black ice hits the roads. Tried driving mine on a bit of snow and at best ended up with wheel spin. Dealer tried studded snow tires--and gave that up after a couple tries.

If you can drive with the whatevers, you are going to be in a heap of trouble from all the other drivers. Add in ice and you have a very dangerous ride with all the trucks and SUV's that are already going into the ditch here. I have seen as many as 50 ditch divers in a 10 mile stretch of the Glenn Highway on one of these days.

I agree, riding a Spyder on snow/ice is for braindead kids. I also don't take out my sports car or the BMW.

For those to work at all, I'm thinking they have to have rubber or something on the inside to keep from just spinning on the tires.
