• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Managed a first runner-up tonight. Not too bad for competing at a Harley bar. Got lots of comments and questions from everybody. Now for a first place....

:congrats:

I would also like more details. What types of competitions are these? Is it kind of like a car show? In case you cannot tell I have never been to one. ;)

Wednesday night shows usually have 1300-1800 bikes at the event and the host goes around and chooses 3 for everyone to vote on. Its real hard to even get in the running. I got a first place in 2004 with my Busa and a 3rd 2 weeks ago with the Spyder, so I feel real lucky

Sat night shows, everyone that wants to enter signs up and one judge picks the winners. This at the mostly Harley place, so its rare for an import ( even from Canada) to place or win.

Lots of cleaning/polishing prior to the show and avoiding any water on the road during the trip to the show...

That is a pretty good accomplishment then, and definitely something to be proud of.
