Wiring problem RT Limited 2012

So, hopefully you can see this.Long story short of it. Pulled the rear end off to replace the air pump. That job done I put the rear end module back then started plugging things back up. Low and behold I have these 5 naked wires lookin at me. The connector line has a Black and Red and the other has Black Red and White wires. As far as I know everything is suppose to be pug and play. I bought this used so I'm thinkin could be anything. It has a tow package also Sirius radio. Any ideas would be helpful as this whole thing is new to me.... thanks in advance

I agree, it could be anything. I don't recall seeing wires like these when I had the back end off of my RT. My suggestion is to tape them off and check all the functions after you get her started. The previous owner probably removed something before selling the bike.

looks like some accessory wires going on there. I just looked at my 2012 rts and there is nothing like that on mine in that location. I just happen to have mine apart right now. unless that's what's left of a audio harness maybe?

Definitely looked at that.Was considering that too.Got an open connector on both sides however the wires are not the same color.Guess I'll break out the electrical tape and go from there. Thanks much for the input....

It looks like he put together his own connectors like the OEM connectors. What you see on the ends of the wires are pins like the ones inside the OEM connectors. They were in either a 5 pin connector or separate 2 pin and 3 pin connectors. Why the connector housings aren't there is a mystery.

The one wire looks like it has a fuze holder in it. I think he had some sort of accessory installed that must have had a power lead coming to it from the battery.

Can you trace them all back to whatever they connect to at the other end?

didn't go that deep into it. I just have the side panels off due to changing out the air filter element and the vac lines on the throttle body, sorry.

Those look like the wires for the GPS and are normally capped and along side the gas tank.
The 2 wires is power for the GPS (the rubber thing is the fuse holder) and the 3 wires are the audio connection for the GPS.

My opinion looking at them.

OK,a little further investigation after I taped the wires was I had no GPS on start up. Ssooo It's lookin like I have something not connected on the GPS. These wires are on the Radio side.Radio works AM, FM, Weather.Gotta find open connectors I guess.So thanks for the ideas....I'm on it

Both power and audio cables for the GPS go to the radio.

Makes sense as I see nothing else to plug into. Wires look really strange like they were ripped out by their roots.
