• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wiring module for Hitch

I am installing a hitch on my RT and it is the new 2013 model that replaces the old 10-12 style. The instructions suck as they typically do so while most of the install is common sense the placement of the wiring module has me stumped. It points to the area below the battery access panel but I see nothing there that resembles the picture they show. It is held down by a zip tie and it appears as if it has a specific area to be mounted but I cannot see it anywhere near or around the battery. Anyone installed one yet and have some insight?
By the way, the new wiring is completely different than the old plug in. It now is a square plug that mounts on the surface under the side bag, the 2013 trailer plug is also square so I have to rewire the 2011 trailer I bought to work with the hitch.

Thanks,

Randy

ok... I think I know the answer. The picture shown is for a 2013 RT! I can find a spot for it I am sure. My supplier says the 2011 has been superceded by this model but I wonder if that is true or just a line to sell inventory.

Oh well, mystery solved.... I think, lol.
