After reading a couple of comments about turn signal wire rubbing the tire and limp mode caused by a loose wire near the wheel I decided to look at my own.
I found wires under the fender on the right side rubbing the tire. Fortunately the weather and roads have been too bad to ride in so I only have about 35 miles on the Ryker. You can see in the pictures that the tape covering the wires has already worn in that time. The main problem was there was too much wire folded up for the turn signal and poor routing of the wire to the wheel speed sensor connector. I split the fender partially apart and pushed the turn signal wire up into the area for the light to take up the slack. I also rerouted the sensor wire so it did not have the loop that was rubbing the tire. Lucky I found this now and not out on a long ride.
