• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Winter's back - this is "bull****"

Next time..!!

 Damn...

Do you need a fulltime live-in Gardiner, Waterboy, Cook, Sweeper, Dog Walker? :D

Your in the area you know where to stay...do most of that myself but have plenty of time to ryde. Were are 15 min from Mexico and 5 min from great ryding...:yikes: Sorry this is not helping. We are really suffering here...:banghead:

If it's gonna be cold we might add well have snow!!!!! We're supposed to get snow Thursday-Friday but not much. 16" of snow would be awesome:yes:

 Darn...
I had me and four of my buddies; all set to move in with you! :yikes: :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
Tell your lovely Bride... :joke:

I'm glad you got a few miles on yours as I know you were tied up with those "fancy" handlebars!! We'll need to get together for a ryde sometime this year!

I am looking forward to that  Being that I am still a working stiff I do not have the time to ride as often as I would like. If you are interested I have an "guys only" ride comming up on May 16, 17, and 18 that's always a fun time and you would be welcome to join us. This year's destination is Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin. We have anywhere from 11 to 24 bikes on this ride and has been going on since the 1970's.

Let me know if interested and I will PM you the details.

Brake out the snow mobile and stop complaining you chose to live there. Make the best of what you've got. I had to live there twice for short periods of time. Snow mobile is just as much fun. Do not for get the "Snow Shoe" (half peppermint schnapps and half Christian Brothers brandy). Yahoo!

This winter will surely be known as the winter that wouldn't quit. I am hoping things settle down for Spyderfest.

I rode yesterday (48-50 and light drizzle). Will also go again today. Partly sunny and temps forecast to be about the same.

I am feeling lucky about our current weather.

Well at the other end of the spectrum it is in the 80's in S. Fl, only had a couple times where it even got into the 50's for a few days this entire winter. Was going to trim the trees back before hurricane season as soon as they dropped the leaves so I could see where to cut, even that didn't happen. Send some of that cool weather down here please!

Congrats!

My wife just finished the MSF corse Sunday and since then it has been freezing and super windy. Can't wait to ride.:banghead:

That's great!:congrats: I took the course a couple of years ago... never too old to learn something:yikes::yikes::shocked::shocked:. Our group was really bimodal in terms of ages. We had the very young folks with some on them on their first lesson rydin' and then there were people in my range where we rode a lot earlier in life and was getting a refresher. There was one guy about my age who took it after his "stroke" and he did a great job -- I admire him for that!

Anyways, get our there and ryde and be sure to stay safe! :2thumbs::2thumbs:

Temperature extreams

Spend 6 months during the summer in MN and the other 6 months in So. California. Normally on the way home at this time but the cold and snow kept us here a while longer. Last week we were in the 90's and it continues on. Spyder was loaded on the trailer 2 days ago as this heat made riding no fun. I had replaced the BRP air cleaner and resonator with JT's kit and happy that I did. One long ride last week-end in 90 degree weather and no boiling gas or gas fumes. Just got word that our neighbor in MN had 10 inches of new snow with wind and 28 degrees and it is still coming down. May wait here a few more days. Most snow birds have left the park so it is so quiet. Gas stations and grocery stores have no lines waiting to fill up or check out. Golf course is empty after 10 am except for a few die hards wanting to get in one more round before they leave for the frozen north.

No need to hurry back the snow will wait for you :banghead:
