There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Heated garage here also. I have never deflated the air bags. They usually need to be re-pressured a bit in the spring though. I have one manual version and one auto version of the air bags. :thumbup:

Just make sure the blinker fluid is topped off, and the piston return springs are well-oiled. :lecturef_smilie:

I don't see any advantage to doing that, but then my idea of winter prep is filling all the bikes tanks with aviation gasoline and plugging in the battery tenders. Sunny day in January? Check tire pressure and take a ride providing roads aren't salted heavily. Never had a starting issue in the spring.

There's no need to zero the pressure in the airbag.
But if you do: make SURE that you don't let the rear suspension collapse down fully: put your bike up on jackstands.

I looked in the muffler for the " muffler bearings" and couldn't find a single one?????? How about some pixs or a video???

Dont do it ...this is from experience my 2012 RT compressor went out and I only found out when riding we were bottoming out when we hit bumps and I tried to put more pressure in the rear air bag suspension but could not, what I found out was that all the air had leaked out of the airbag and the compressor was shot. It was repaired under warranty but the tech told me that at all times there must be air pressure in the bag due to what happened to mine as the air bag collapses into it self and causes very small cracks which then leak. So the airbag MUST have pressure in it at all times I would go up to my workshop were the RT is stored during winter and check that there is pressure in it and would never let it get below 15 psi normally it would take about a month before I would need to add in some pressure to it.

Fresh oil change (also just changed the HCM filter) - CHECK
Winter air pressure checked (left the 30 psi in the fronts after new tires.. sure rolls around the garage good) - CHECK
Looking online for some new farkles, heated gear - CHECK
Battery tender ready on the shelf - CHECK
If it warms up a little, roll it out and go for a spin, watch for loose gravel - CHECK:yes::joke:

don't forget the wiper fluid either. The old stuff gets stale over the winter
you mean they actually salt the roads in Ohio. Must be something new.

LOL, I know a lot of people who do the same. I never did, and didn't ever wish I had.....No more sled for us though....It just doesn't snow enough around here anymore.
