We are in Q most of the winter and do many local rides if anyone is in the area let us know and we can get together. Bob
Go to Home page click LaMonts Picture it will show you all the events listed for this year , maybe some for next year ..... Mike :thumbup:Does anyone have any information on whether there are any winter spyder rallys scheduled during the winter months? Several "winter visitors" to Arizona are interested in any rallys scheduled during Jan-April.
We could do an alignment event, and some rides, if you want.
Hi Jim,
Re: "winter visitors" to Arizona
My brother is a snow-birder with a house in Yuma. Last year when I was down there, I noticed a bunch of Spyders had gathered at the small shopping mall at the SW corner of intersection of I-8 & S. Fortuna Road, Exit #12 off of I-8.
This was on a Monday evening & I have no idea if this is a normal get together or not.
Just some info for you,
Jerry Baumchen
PS) This shopping mall is where the Applebee's restaurant is located.
That would be great. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.
Good question. The SW needs one or two mid-winter rallies for sure!
We are in So. Utah for the winter months and plan on touring the SouthWest. Maybe we can arrange a group meetup somewhere if nothing else.
I might be up for heading out that way if something develops. But, I need to figure out how to get there from Alabama with out freezing my *%& off. Hank and very cold wind don't get along too well.
This post was the inspiration for Southwest Spyder Ryde-In! I hope you made it to the one in Tombstone but if not then come out to Globe in March. Be sure to look me up and tell me your SL handle so I make the connection. Warning: you WILL be recognized at the Saturday nyte get-together!Does anyone have any information on whether there are any winter spyder rallys scheduled during the winter months? And, THIS is how the Tombstone Ryde-In got started. Thanks, again, Cindy. You, Todd and the rest of your team are true pioneers!Yes, please keep us informed!! There are quite a few spyder ryders in southern AZ, Tucson, and Phoenix areas. A lot of us poor souls still have to work so weekends would be great if that figures into it at all. I will do what I can to help. Cindy
