• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Winter is finally approaching...

It appears that the Storms are finally moving into the Northeast...
The National Weather Service is saying that we'll have somewhere between six, and twelve inches of snow by tomorrow evening. I guess that means that they don't actually have a clue as to what is coming! :roflblack:

So we'll see you all on the other side!

She doesn't even know that I have that in the garage...
But maybe I can finally talk her into some help with some extra turnsignal indicator lighting...

We were supposed to get 12 inches of snow yesterday, but ended up with between 1 and 3 inches of the white stuff.

So does that mean that you snuck one past Ole Man Winter?
Or will he reap his vengance at a later date??? :yikes:

Yes Bob, it's coming your way. Went through here this afternoon with high winds, tornado warnings and heavy rain. Funnel cloud sighted just a few miles north of us. By 3:00 the sun was shining.

The weatherman is the only guy who can be wrong 70% of the time and still keep his job. Put the tender on the mistress and got out the snowmobiles this morning. One week to the day that I put 150 miles on the spyder, I put 60 miles on the ski-doo. I really do love NY. Did I just say that??!!!!!!

:gaah: Six lousy inches of snow... :gaah:
And now it's warmed up and is rapidly turning to slop!
The snowBlower can't cut it in this mess... back to the shovels! :cus:

...And it's snowing again... Could this day be any more fun than it already is?? :gaah::cus:
At least the temperatures dropped and firmed the snow back up a bit so that the SnowBlower could take over the heavy-lifting chores.
I even got it cleared out before everything knit together in one big block of ice in my driveway! :yikes:

I'm riding to lunch today with another Spyder friend and I'll think about you Bob when I cut through the curves with my new Baja Ron Sway Bar. But it isn't all sunshine and puppy dogs here either as the high for the day is only going to be 49. Brrrr.

Just take it easy if you have to shovel the snow instead of using the snowblower. We call that heart attack snow.

I know! Unfortunately I'm allergic to heart attacks, so I try to avoid them as often as possible!
Sparks... you really know how to bring a tear to a man's eye...
