• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I would assume that at least the residents of Alaska know how to drive in winter conditions.

As Bob said, most are from out of town.

Most can be heard singing the anthem--"I am invincible, I have a four wheel drive." :roflblack::roflblack:

They forget you can go, but you can't stop at 70 mph and on ice. One person makes a mistake and it's trouble time.

You see why I do not ride my :spyder2: in conditions like this--regardless of studded tires.

We drove up the East Coast back in December of 1992; we had the "Grand-Poobah", of all ice storms going on...
Maryland and Virginia were almost laughable... I watched a car come down off of an entrance ramp sideways, and get pushed down the road, by another fool in a pickup truck that was doing about 65 mph...
He pushed the guy right out of sight... :yikes:

Wow..!!

we have that here when it rains and these folk were born and raised here...:yikes: hate to see them in the snow....:roflblack:

:D Are you kidding?? They'd be more fun than a barrel-full of drunk monkeys! :roflblack:
 But only from a safe distance...

Winter arrived in Las Vegas yesterday also. Rainy and cold. Yuck. But I did ride today and will ride again tomorrow.

Two years ago, when we met up, we experienced some of that Vegas winter. It was cold and we ran into snow in the high areas. Zion was beautiful with her winter coat on.

We are hoping for 50+ when you folks arrive in June. :roflblack:
