• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Winter and PMS....

We had some "Weather " poking around here all day... the showers were threatening... :gaah:
So in the interest of "Marital Harmony"; we took the Jeep to go get Pizza...
(Our Favorite place: Brother Joy's Olde World Italian Restaurant, in Middletown, NY :2thumbs:)

...and then I took a solo ride, once I got home! :ohyea:

There are so many areas in Florida to like. It all depends what you are looking for. I personally prefer the coastal areas. The east coast is more active than the west coast. The west coast is more laid back. The further north you are in the state the cooler it is in the winter. You can actually get a feel for a change of seasons in northern parts of Florida. Orlando south is warmer in the winter months and less likely to have frost. I suggest you take some time and explore the state to see which areas you like. We have lived in Florida for over 20 years and have lived on both coasts. We are now settled in SW Florida and call it home.

West Coast is more laid back...and I thought it was an age thing.

As mentioned, Florida is diverse in choices of where to live.

Moved here in 83, have not seen snow on my driveway ever.

Seriously though it is a tradeoff. I'm not sure how but someone will explain it to me.

Sorry to hear about your cold weather and snow.

PK

Today we had 50 degrees, and I was inside working, the rest of the week it will be in the 20's Burrr hurry up spring.

No snow yet in the valleys, but in the mountains they have snow, ( snow guns going on the mountains for people to start skiing) Yuck Deanna

I rode down today from Duluth. Roads were good on 35 south until I got to Harris Mn. :sour::sour::sour: Our fantastic Minnesota Department of Transportation neglected to plow from Harris to North Branch. Soooooooo, I'm stuck on the freeway:mad::mad::mad:. Highway Patrol :yes: calls a tow for me. The total distance towed; 3.5 miles.....to clean pavement in North Branch!!! 100.49 dollars.:yikes::yikes:. Well, drivers gotta eat too. If I could have driven 3.5 miles, I would have shaved 3 hrs off my ride. So, in conclusion, don't ride after a snow storm (14 inches in Harris).. go figure
ps.............I arrived home sore, tired, broke, but experienced:yes::yes:
