• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wing R18 Conversion cleaner lines

Wing R18 conversion.jpg

This has a better looking nose on it than any of the other conversions, but I don't think it would handle very well. And, take into consideration that they lost the ABS on the conversion due to different size tires on the front than factory and doubled the front wheel speed sensors (if it had them) would not be calibrated with the computer. And, that would also keep the computer from compensating for front wheel lift. Only thing they could maybe add would be a yaw sensor, but programming it to the computer would be a chore.

Even though it looks better, I'll still stick with my RT.

Thanks for the quick description!
I like the styling of them, but the wasted space up front just sort of bugs me. It needs a useful frunk!

Just read an article in Trike magazine

They rave on about its handling, torque, detailed build etc.
Well written objective article
I have a feeling some wing guys will go this way.

Btw not me
Love my sporty rtse6

I love R&R put another dime in the jukebox baby!

I rode one at a GW show this summer and the handling is GREAT, and awesome power ...Things I didn't like were; No front trunk, Manual transmission, No 6th gear & weak reverse...

My ride is a 2014 RTS...

What's the Point?

I'm not sure I see the point. Honda Goldwings are excellent bikes. But you either want a Goldwing or you want a Spyder. Why pay a lot of money for a conversion that doesn't have the best features of either? :dontknow:

My finances would not permit it
Rots uf bucks for that eh

Having ridden 2 different GL1800 conversions before the Spyder RTs with the 1330 motor were available, the same can be said about the standard trike conversions. Your dealing with aftermarket kits that aren't warrantied by HONDA. There are more HONDA dealers doing trike conversions; but the trike friendly shops are still a small number of total factory dealers..
