I am looking at California Scientific Medium and the Madstad Adjustable. Has anyone use either? Pros and cons please? On the California Scientific how do you feel about the hole in the middle of the shield? Thanks. ...

i've had both

i started out with the cal-sci. they are very good. the hole reduces turbulence. i needed higher coverage than it could provide, so i switched to a madstad, which is also very good. i've had the madstad on for three years.

I have a Cal-Sci Windshield on mine the hole in the middle was bad in the winter it let cold air in and hit me in the neck. I had to finish the sides and fit it so the holes would line up and their customer service was very poor. Custom Dynamics have dropped California Scientific from their product line. My California Scientific windshield has started to crack at the top when it gets to bad I'll get Madstad Adjustable, that way I don't have to change windshields in the summer. That's IMHO.

+1 for madstad!!! I had a light tint 22 inch on my RS and it was Nice. Before that I tried 2 of the calsci shield's that either broke or were at the wrong height. Madstad is the way to go!!
