• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Windshield wraps for Cal-Sci windshields

Here's a few shots of the windsheild wrap we made for our Cal-Sci windshield.

We are sure if we are going to offer the wrap as a kit yet or not, and if so in what patterns as we also made a Carbon Fiber look wrap as well for Lamontster.

Lamonster, have you posted any pics of your modified Cal-sci w/s and your thoughts on it's performance in it's current state. Thanks in advance for your insight. WAYNE

Very cool, looks like it's applied to the rear face of the windshield...looks big enough to fit all windshields! I have a tinted MMG shield, but wouldn't mind having the lower portion fade from black.

No it's on the outside. This wrap is coated with a clear outer layer and is on the top side of the shield. It is the clear protective layer that looks shinny not the windsheild.

This is also something that could be done to a scratched windshield as well to save it.

It is the same kind of wrap that is used to wrap car bodies as it stretches well and has a design that lets out trapped air, so no bubbles.

Micromesh adhesive vinyl? Occasionally we get the contract to apply those to some of the airliners we work on. Huge sectional images that overlap like a puzzle.

Neat idea. Even a clear on can be used to protec the shield.

You ougt to make them for the fronts of spyder part like hood an fendors to to help protec from rocks.

Awesome! You continue to show your commitment to knowing what your customers what.

Wifey says I have a man crush on MM. This is why! ;)

We weren't sure how people would react to these.

I know I like the look, but sometimes that is not enough.

If enough people want these we will put them into production. I know this will be one of the patterns we will offer, and Carbon Fiber look will be the other.

Right now if we make these we will go with these 2 designs and are trying to see if there are more good patterns we can come up with.

Thanks for the positive feedback!

In regards to the carbon version...will it be the whole screen or the fade from black dip on the lower half of the screen?

Looks cool, but personally I'd prefer one that faded from black at the bottom to clear at the top like the BRP touring shield does.

I guess I'm just not that flashy. :dontknow:

MagicMan the wrap looks great. Like the look it completes the :spyder:. Agree how about a wrap for the nose/trunk lid.

First things first. I am not even sure there will be enough interest in these to make them yet more or less trunk wraps. :dontknow:

The windshield wrap is definitiely cool IMO, put me and Bimjo down for a fade from black into clear(I wonder if a fade from black to clear with a sublte empty web is possible).

I know I want one!! I like the idea of the the fender and trunk to!

Magics screen wrap for the windshield is very original, but there are lots of generic graphic kits out there...tape works and other vehicular or sign shops probably in your own town that deal with vinyl graphics and printing could could cut whatever you want, but it does come close to a paint job in price for something as big as that trunk panel.
