Windshield Cleaners - is it safe to use any of them?

I see where they sell plexi glass cleaners, is it safe to use a glass cleaner that does not have ammonia in it, I do know cleaners like Windex are not to be used.

As long as there is no ammonia in it, then it is safe, but there are so many others out there. I use "Plexus or Protectall" to clean the whole bike shield and helmets. Got tired of a cleaner for each... :thumbup:

Pledge is good.
You must buff it with two cloths though. First one, then a dry one. Cheaper than Plexus, but a little more work.

Lemon Pledge or Plexis. I find Lemon Pledge works the best. Airplanes, motorcycles, boats etc. Use it on the body also. Problem with Plexis is it will leave little swirls/scratches. Lemon Pledge will cover this up and make the windshield very clear. Plexis is now up to $22.00 a can the same size as Lemon Pledge which is $5.95.
