I don't know.... I kind of like it myself. Now the front fenders are another story altogether! :yikes:

We each have our own ideas of what looks right. What is good for one owner is hideous to another. Same goes for functional features and ergonomics. The Spyder is what it is. If you like it, buy it, if not...you know the rest. I am satisfied, or I wouldn't own one...er, two.

I'm kinda the opposite....I think these machines have to much plastic and bits covered up.

Well, I would agree with you, a little, from a personal point of view, but, when I consider how the general public still seems pretty fascinated with the whole general appearance of the Spyder, I guess I shouldn't be very critical about it. It's a rare trip up-town that I don't get some real attention, and a whole lot of questions.

that's what makes the world go round! personally i like that naked look, and would even take the rear fender off if it wasn't for such a wet ride when it rains!nojoke

Eh...to much plastic, not enough spokes and tassel. Getting close though.haha. I do have some pics around here somewhere when we took mine out without all the plastics and the frunk off..
