• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Who's going to Spyders in the Redwoods Aug 4-7 2013?

New update on our plans.
Will be getting off Pt.Angeles,Washington ferry on August 1st at about 7:30 am and heading west on 101 hwy and possibility of staying in Astoria at the Crest Motel. If interested in meeting up with us there will be 3 spyders in our group.

OK, I guess we will not be meeting up in Blaine, Wa. as previously discussed.
Will meet up with you on the road or at Eureka then. Enjoy and have a safe ride.

Sorry Beng my freinds wanted us to go across at Pt.Angeles instead. We can still meet up the night of August 1st in Astoria,Oregon and we are staying at the CREST MOTEL.
Hope we can meet up the rest of the way down to Eureka.

I understand, no problem. What will your route be heading to Astoria on August 1st? Will you be passing by Olympia, Washington? Perhaps you can designate a time and location that is easy for us to meet in Olympia (I will be travelling down on I-5 to meet you).

Still have to check for accomodations in Astoria as this was not my intended route. Thanks Dan.

Have you two considered using PM's or maybe getting a room together???

PM's are generally used for this. It is used for more of a personnel communication between two parties and not the general forum membership.

Have a great ride down!

See you all there

We are planning to ride now that the doc says she can ride again.:clap:We will leave the San Diego area probably on the 1st and make a leisurely ride up the coast. She wants to go over the Golden Gate Bridge, it's a bucket list thing, so we will take our time and see you all there!

So happy to see you all planning and getting excited about the fourth annual Spyders in the Redwoods event. We have a lot of great things planned again for this year. If you missed the pre-registration period, you can still register on the first day of the event at the Red Lion in Eureka. They are also rooms still available.

Safe travels to you all and can't wait to see you all there!!!

We depart Salt Lake City on Friday morning at 8AM and should be in Eureka by 2 on Saturday afternoon. Can't wait! Safe travels to all!

We leave Saturday morning and will spend the night in Fernley, NV then on to Eureka. The weather forecast looks great, I'm looking forward to the cool weather.

Me too. But it's going to be hot getting there. 106° forecasted for Redding, CA on Saturday for us and high 90 through Nevada with thundershowers on this Friday.
