• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Title said it all. Looking for half helmets that have the ability to accept helmet speakers and/or communication system. I seen somewhere that a company has speaker pockets in the ear flaps??

I just had a customer in the shop with 2 1/2 helmets that he wanted to
have the blue tooth SENA installed and the helmets were very high quality
I do not know who makes them for Harley but you can always go to your
local shop and see them for yourself.
The SENA units that fit the 1/2 helmets are tops and work very well.
I am in San Francisco right now but will be back in the shop on Saturday
I will see about posting pictures of them then.

The sena half helmet intercom comes with the speakers already in pockets to insert into your half helmet.
See photo. I have these and they work excellent.

I tried to put these into a friends Harley half helmets and the controls will not fit through the straps that come down over your ears. Be careful if you buy Harley and make sure they fit.

Do you know if you can link this system to a scala or do they have to be 2 of the same system?
Also can you sun this communication system and bluetooth music as well at the same time. This might be the system i have been looking for. My lack of hearing ability with the speaker systems only allows me to use earbuds to hear anything.

The Fulmer half helmet sold by Harley dealers is excellent but the SENA SMH10 is just a bit too large because of the wide strap. I took the helmets to a local shoe repair shop and had them cut and re-stitch the leather strap so that it fits the Fulmer perfectly.
 
A few years ago bought a pair of HJC half helmets and they had the zip of side ear flaps with the speaker pockets. Bought a new set of HJC half helmets when we were at Spiderfest this year but they had no speaker pockets. We just made a pair of pockets and sowed into side flaps and it works great.
 
You must have not done it correctly it worked just right for me.

I've never tried linking with another helmet, but by using my Garmin Zumo 660 and my Android cellphone, I can listen to music from the cell phone and also hear the Garmin Zumo . . .
