• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I intend to go and would be happy to join you. I usually meet my friends from NY state so we could have a small group. Let's keep in touch on the details.

We do have a midway point. We will be stopping in Columbus Ohio
for the night. Hotel we will be staying at the red roof Inn & Suite in Columbus, oh,
the address is 4530 W. Broad St.,
Columbus Ohio 43228
855-239-9400
. Make your reservations early, so you do not have no problem
getting a hotel room. If you are meeting us there. PM me so we know to be looking out for you and I can give you my phone number.
we will be pulling out 7 AM in the morning, April 23,

the first stop is the rest area after valley forge on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. we will be meeting there at 5 AM on April 22,
remember we all most be safe enjoy the ride and have fun
one of the reasons that we are leaving early
there will be a trip captain in front in one in the back.
they will be on CB channel 3.

Any plans on changing the midway point now that we'll be farther west?
.

Changing the midway point I have talked to other Spyder rider of the collective web that come from different States for this ride taking into consideration that Springfield MO,
is further then Cuba MO, but I wanted to take a few things into consideration. Some of us will be getting up at 3:00am
to start this journey. We are picking up other Spyder riders along the way. We also are meeting Spyder riders in Columbus, Ohio
at The hotel. The most important thing is safety some people are going to be tired. We had a few people who have not
travel this kind of distance On ther Spyder. So I want to make sure everyone gets a good night's sleep and leave at 7:00 AM on the 23rd
, where we are going to pick up some more riders Along the way on the 23rd.

I was planning to to the 3 hour trip from Belle Vernon, PA to Columbus and then ride on from there with you guys but with the additional 10 hours + stops I think that will be way too much riding for one day (15+ hours). I may try to hook up with some riders from VA and if that doesn't work out I might have to take an extra day and sleep in Columbus and go with you all from there.

The ride from Columbus to Springfield is 630-680 miles so you're looking at 9.5 - 10 hours drive time plus 1 hour for gas stops (4-5 stops at 10 minutes each) and 1 hour for lunch. So about 12 hours without traffic.

I'll definitely keep you updated though!

if things do not work out. You know you are welcome to ride with us. Columbus Ohio to Springfield Missouri is 630 miles. If the group agree. We may want to make a stop in Cuba MO,
MO Hicks BBQ for lunch, in stop at cow town. To break up the ride. And then head on to Springfield Missouri. We are going to Spyderfest for group rides , Fellowship. meeting new people & Friends who you have something in common with. we are doing that already. So just don't look at the ride also look at the journey. the group is getting bigger an bigger.

So please keep us posted and let us know what you are going to do.
