• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Who doesn't have a garage

My poor Spyder has to stay in a climate controlled shop, on a rug, next to a small refrigerator. Poor Spyder :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

enclosed trailer

How many Spyder riders here don't have a garage to store your ride in? And how/what do you do to protect it? Is a cover a good alternative?

I use an enclosed trailer to keep it in the dry, then I can use the trailer to tow it if I need to.

Secure multi Storey Car Park

Mine is kept in the secure multi storey car park that is manned 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Security patrol the car park every hour. Sandra is parked in front of security office and under a CCTV camera. Sandra is padlocked to a metal post and has a screamer disc lock on her. If anybody tampers with her, she will scream car park down and security will ring me on my mobile to let me know.

I am lucky. 3 car garage- wife's Buick Enclave in one side, Spyder in middle in front of trash and recycling cans, my Jeep Renegade in the single door side (that side is 2 ft shorter than the side with the double door).

I also get to store it in the garage most of the year. The wife's Tahoe in the single car garage and on the other side I have my Silverado 3500 Dually my work bench and the my Spyder. When the weather turns and the snow falls I put the Spyder in the shed and put the John Deere in the garage.

no garage no problem

I don't have a garage but the Can Am full cover protects it very well. Ive had it in the cover since April 2013 and it is still in one piece. I have sprayed it with fabric water proofing to keep the moisture out.

I do not have a garage, I store it @ a dealership, with a BRP full cover on it. It is secured, locked, and a battery tender on the spyder for it's hibernation. The dealership offers me a decent price to store it.

Up here in the NE we don't know what the weather is going to be from Oct. to March. Deanna
