Whistling noise

There is a whistling noise coming from under the dash when the bike is off. When the bike is cranked you can't hear it but after it's turned off and all the computer stuff shuts down you can hear it. Anybody have any idea what it could be? We're new to the Spyder and kinda afraid to start taking things apart.pps:

This is normal behavior. After shutting down the computer keeps the throttle body clamped shut for approximately 40 minutes. EVERYONE new to the Spyder RT has asked this question, including me!

Why would it have to run 40 Minutes?
Does it wear the battery at all?
My GS seems so simple compared to these RT,s ?

Yep, the spyder has more in common with the starship Enterprise than the GS. When I wave to other riders I like to do the Spock finger thing.
