• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Which would you rather see?

I would bet you $500 if BRP gave you $500 for your trouble you'd still bitch.
I am glad you are happy with what was probably the best year bike. I like to generate discussion and welcome all views. Those of us with 2013's wonder what our future holds. Thanks for your contribution

:agree: Bob

Some come here to stay up to date. Some, for help resolving a problem they are sure others on this board can help them with. Others, come here to vent. Perhaps because they have met what they perceive a dead end to any resolution of their problem. In my time here I've witnessed three ways the later is delt with(in general). Some, get the full throated support of members while others are shamed, ignored, or ostracized. Then, they either disappear, fade into the background, or go on defense. A position that generally makes things worse.

Sometimes we all need to be less judgemental, more understanding, and take a step back while putting ourselves in their shoes before condeming them.

 Maybe we all need to let this issue settle down down, before somebody says something that they regret... nojoke

Personally if you click though the pages/pictures this is the one I like it is one of the pages on the Spyder site.

get real

Hiring a spokesperson just proves to me the product is in dire need of help to make it sell. There is no way a the endorsement of a sports person or any other individual is going to influence me to buy a certain product. In reality, that turns me off and steers me toward the non-endorsed product.

So when Nike endorses atheletes to promote their product line, its because they are in dire need of help to make them sell? Give me a break...some of you need to really read what you post here. before you hit the "submit" button

Ron Burgundy doesn't make me want to run out and get a Dodge Ram...even if they are free (he is lying) :roflblack: Nike's claim to fame was MJ look what they charge for an Air Jordan. He helped the brand because he used them every night and worked his butt off in them. That is the difference.

Not for me

Shoes....basketball players
Wheaties...Olympians
Priceline...Captain Kirk
The US President...Oprah

Seriously, you don't think endorsements work?

They probably work for people who can't thing for themselves, or they think that buying that product they become that endorser's close buddy. Look at me because I bought that product so and so sells. Buying a Buick because Shakil endorses it, or a certain brand of underwear because a basketball player endorses it? Soft minds buy int that stuff all the time.

Shift lights........who would have thunk? A conversation that likely took place before your arrival here. It too was interesting. Nuff said.

:bdh::bdh::banghead: . . . Danica Patrick can ride with me, any day, . . . as can anyone else with a Spyder . . . even Miley (but she will have to sign a no-twerking agreement!)

Then start having discussions about the Spyder. But, that's not what you do here. You jab, whine, complain and bitch about BRP about things that have nothing to do with discussing the topic you've hijacked. I'm sorry you have a 2013 with heat problems, but that has nothing to do with how BRP advertising or who endorses their product. It has nothing to do with when BRP begins production of the 2014. Somewhere along the way you come to the conclusion that this is your only outlet to complain about BRP.

By the sounds of your post you've done a little research on my prior post to see I'm very happy with my 2012 RT. For your information, I have had issues with my 2012 RT and every single one of them I have solved by searching this forum and buying products here to fix my concerns. There are lots of suggestions and things 2013 owners have done to solve their heat issues. I believe the owner of this forum admitted he had heat issues with his 2013 ST. Instead of bashing the brand at every opportunity he went to work and found solutions.

So you keep plugging along and I'll just keep calling it the way I see it.

You can't sell anything if nobody notices you. I think maybe city-data.com might be a better forum for you.

He does not want help or a solution, he just wants to whine. Look at 95% of his posts and they are whines about something. At one point he said he was leaving but he still is here.

I really would like to see a solution to the 13 heat issues! If BRP does not come up with something to help us then as far as I'm concerned it don't matter who is on their web page advertising I won't buy the brand again, period!
