• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We have a Yellow Rt-se5 2013. Want to order best looking glo's for it. Also, safety being a consideration, which color is the brightest and/or most visible on a spyder wheel? Any legalities to consider here in Ohio? What did you choose and why? Appreciate your input!

:agree: Yellow or amber would be the safest from a legal standpoint as well...
You should check with your State's motor vehicle lighting requirements; just to be sure!
Get the remote-controlled ones with all of the colors available... you can always pull up the "less than legal lighting" for feats of display that occur in parking lots and parades! :2thumbs:

Have to agree ......... what he said or .... W H I T E or get the New Multi-Color set

Each state has their own laws on colors & in KY you can't have ANY FORWARD FACING or BLINKING/STROBING BLUE or RED Lights on any motor vehicle on the public highways unless their designated for Emergency Use. :lecturef_smilie:

Being in OH, I'd suggest checking what your laws say regarding the subjust :dontknow:

Personally, we have a set in AQUA and also the new (Gen1) set of the remote Multi-Color inserts, since the Glo-Ryders aren't technically forward facing, but side-ways facing, most cops in our area won't bother us.

However, one evening just as it was turning dusk, we had low batteries and the left hand side was kind of flickering off and on and a cop rolled right up and took a better look:shocked: I'm sure he could've probably of sighted us if he wanted, but as soon as I explained they aren't meant to be flashing & I think I just needed to change the batteries, he was cool with them  Not to mention, he saw Teddy in the passenger seat and then asked if he could take some pics ;) Gotta love this dog :bowdown:

Ohio

Ohio law seems to indicate only that any front light must be amber or white. So steady side lights don't seem to be regulated.

What Cyncy said. :2thumbs:.

I like the Yellow or Amber with a yellow colored machine. I have amber ones on my black RT and Purple ones on the silver RT.

It's a matter of taste unless you have to worry about the red/blue and local police issues. Never had any police interaction here, except for a thumbs up from an Alaska State Trooper one evening.

Have to agree..!!

the yellow/amber would be the best. This for safty and legal aspects. For looks you have to choose what you like. Good luck..!!
