Well, we finally landed at home. They paroled nancy this morning. She has some pain, but is doing OK. She'll probably be much better after she catches up on her sleep. When they take vitals every hour or two, and sneak vampires into your room in the middle of each night to suck your blood, you do not rest. Six weeks of PT ahead of the old girl, but I'm betting she'll be off the walker in a week or less. Being married to me for 35 years toughens a woman!
I am not in pain and am apparently out of immediate danger. There is still great concern. I head to University of Michigan soon to try to find out how much damage has been done, and possibly what the cause is. It may be related to an earlier problem and surgery. Still tired, nauseated, and short of breath, but I am able to care for Nancy, and that's all that counts.
Once again, thank you for all the kindness, prayers, and concern for both of us. This would have been much, much harder without you!
