• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

in Springfield (Pitbull) next week. Going down Tues. to pick up a new bike and wondering where the best place near Pitbull would be as far as price and good accommodations. Thanks for your input!

I stayed at Best Western Coach House with many other Spyder Lovers during Spyderfest and I have to say that
the room was perfectly comfortable and the team there were very helpful in all respects. I would recommend them to anyone.

At Spyderfest we stayed at the Best Western Rail Haven. Neat old Route 66 motel. Very clean and well appointed.

I've thought about the BW Rail Haven because of it's historic location. Glad to hear a good report. It's also on Glennstone, but south of Pitbull.

The BW Coach House was really nice during Spyderfest, so I agree with the other recommendations for it. It's north of Pitbull.

I've not stayed there, but if you're looking for a less expensive alternative, some folks like the Days Inn I-44.

Just dont stay at the rundown Lamplighter. Will NEVER stay there again. Great folks from Spyderfest but the hotel was awful. Folks staying at the other host hotels all reported good stays. I would strongly suggest that the Spyderfest crew not use the Lamplighter in future years.

My buddy and I stayed at the Best Western Coach House during :f_spider:fest, It was as good as any place I've ever stayed and better than most. That would be my first choice..

Sue, we stayed at the Lamplighter and our room was nice. They have a good breakfast too and it is cheap.
