• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where to place the lift one the RS

I picked up a used HF ATV lift, works great but realized the you ended up with one "lift point" on the exhaust pipe, is this strong enough or should one use a block to make it lift on the frame only? Thanks.

Here's what you do..!!

go as far back as you can on the box frame. Lift from that point then supports under the front and rear wheels as pictured by Lamont.

I think it is a bit different than the RT... no need for 2x4 at this point..

It looks like Lamont is on the exhaust pipe. I added a 2x4 to make it hit the frame first just to be safe.

" IF " you place a block of wood that will span to both metal support tabs for the rear shock you can lift at that point also.......IT MUST BE WIDER THAN THOSE TABS .....you do not want to lift the shock bolt, although it's very strong , it's not strong enough to support the weight of the entire rear.....also as stated do not touch any part of the exhaust system , it will crack or deform badly...............Mike

seriously folks

many many folks here use that type of jack to lift their spyder. it should be pretty easy to miss the exhaust, coming in from the left side.
