• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where is your Gremlin Bell located?

Okay, i was reading another post about the etiquette of removing your Gremlin Bell when trading in your motorcycle (to put on your new Spyder) and it got me to wondering where everybody has mounted their Gremlin Bells. I chose the little "hook" under the footbrake. Since the dealer shaved off a bit of the rubber stopper to stop my brake lights from staying on (known problem with the 2013 ST's), the brake pedal sits much higher than it did before, making it the ideal place to mount my Gremlin Bell. It can be seen, yet is not noticeable unless you are looking for it. I have attached a few pics of mine and would love to see some pics and/or feedback from others...

I don't have pics, but I put ours on the factory belt cover thing on the left side of the :spyder2:. The were 2 existing bolts and I think on put it on the back one.

Lot's of answers coming up here. The "rules" say as low to the ground as possible so the gremlins will be scared off better.

I have one hanging from my paddle shift on the left handlebar. Akspyderlady has one hanging from her left handlebar and one from the A-frame in front of the :spyder2:

Bummer..!!

apparently I have no one to give me one seeing as it has to be a gift. But should I ever get one I would hang it off the A arm close to the ground. Keep those gremlins from crawling up from under...

Hang:thumbup: in there--I am guessing your situation may be solved soon.

On my Spyder, attached to the brake arm; on the Vulcan, under the right floorboard. Both are pretty much at the lowest part of the bike to keep those evil gremlins from getting close to anything important. :lecturef_smilie:

Me too I am sooo

Mine is on the A-frame Arm (lowest point) one my RT. Really covered my bases (unnecessarily) and put bell on both sides at very bottom of A-frame Arms. Looks cool too, with matching Bells.

Location

My bells are on the right side "radiator" grill--near the oil check. Since they are too high, I have two. I was asked a couple of times if the were too loud when I drive on the super slab. I was really asked that. I laughed so hard I thought I was gonna wet myself. roflmao

Heres mine

I hung mine on the the upper A arm. Drilled small hole thru the plastic cover.
