• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

According to the comparison on spyder.brp.com they are supposed to have trunk light and liner. I am not finding a light in my RTS.

Anyone else find one?

the trunk they are referring to is the frunk

open the frunk and turn the key on, the light will be that little white spot in the frunk.

you may have to do this in the dark

Truthfully; it's not exactly the best light that i've ever seen...
(Left side of the inner Frunk panel; up toward the front... it's hidden in a bit of a recess.)

Truthfully; If you have your frunklid open wide, and the lowbeams on; you get a decent amount of reflected light landing where it's ALMOST useful! ;)

:agree: I keep buying little AAA-powered, LED flashlights, and hiding them all over the bike! :2thumbs:
I keep a small Maglite in the front and a stick-up LED in the rear. I had to have Lamont lead me to the trunk light when I got my first RT.

I have a new 13 RT Limited and didn't know it had a light until I had the aux turned on, then I saw the light in the Right front of the frunk. It doesn't illuminate unless the key is on (at least on mine)

Ours was behind the upholstery / liner. Agree with having the lights on.

I kind of cheaped out, Harbor Freight has this 27 LED lights that are battery powered and bright. Pretty inexpensive.

One in the front and one in the back.

I have found my frunk light. Better then nothing.
I didn't want to risk $65 to add a frunk light to my base RT and then find out it was wimpy. I'll post in a few days how I added a really nice LED light to my frunk, rear trunk, and saddlebags, for less than $30 total.

luggage lights

Since you almost need a flashlight to find the frunk light and see if it is on I am anticipating some good ideas.

Does the '12 RT Limited have one? I've never seen it. Too cold to go out to my detached garage to look!

OK, I just pulled out the trunk liner and checked with ignition on, ignition and lights, on, engine running, and I do NOT have a light in my frunk. Now I have to remember where I found the high power grommet mount LED's that I used in the cabin of my boat, so that I can install them in all my trunks.
