Where are all the tires?

I just purchased a set of shamrock front rims and am looking for some tires to put on them. Everywhere I look for the tires that are mentioned on this site, everyone is out of them.

If you have recently purchased tires for your spyder please tell me where to find them.

Walmart had Federal Formoza AZ01, but only 1 in stock!

I bought my Formoza tires through my local indie tire shop and they mounted and balanced them on a ride in basis. Surely, you have local tire shops that would love to have your business. But then, I'm no fan of Amazon and big box stores. I like seeing my local businesses thrive.

Have your preferred tire store order what you want. Distributors carry most of the inventory, not tire stores.

I purchased my tires from Walmart. Had to order them though. Ordered the Federal Formoza AZ01 online and had them deliver to house.
Ordered the General Altimax RT 43 at the store and picked it up there.

I had just purchased Federal Formozas AZ01 on June 9th. Arrived in 5 days via FedEx, and had them mounted 2 days ago with Walmart. Here is the link to the Company, and it shows they still have some in stock. I would suggest calling them and placing the order, I spoke with Howard. That way to be sure they are still available. My out the door cost for 2 with shipping was $135.14 . Hope this helps with your search.

And by the way, just some FYI, the date codes on the new tires I received are 3820, so I was a happy camper with that as well. :thumbup:

Got mine installed today, think I’ll have to run iron mt rd to really get a feel for them. Couldn’t attach the pic, too large, but Federal Formosa’s on the front.

Just made a short run up to Keystone on S. Rockerville rd tonight, wow what a difference. Less road noise too. Looking forward to running Iron Mt. road. Why didn’t I do this sooner?

There's a pretty good sized tire chain up here in the Northeast called Town Fair Tire. I was just able to order a set (fronts and rear) of new Vredestein Quatracs from them. In stock, to be delivered to store next Monday. Tire Rack listed not available until August.

Thank God for good rubber, got caught between Deadwood and Pactola in heavy rain. Several of us pulled over at Sugar Shack. There was standing water on 385 in a few places. No issues with traction at all.
