• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Amazing
we don't have to use his last name or initial anymore
We all know who Bob is :clap::yikes::gaah::yes:

I think Bob is locked in a cell and doing 90 years. It would take my "two finger" approach to typing to type that many posts. He must have nothing else to do. But we love him just the same. Anybody that can come up with that much funny and interesting material (some even helpful) is my Hero.

Keep up the good work Bob! I hope I live to see you cross that 100,000 mark.

Jack

Boy, I'll say! Since there are no moose in New York, they must have taken a wrong turn out the door of the Red Dog Saloon in Juneau, or someplace like that.

:D But there ARE moose in New York! nojoke There is a resident population of them on a 17,000 acre parcel of land in the Adirondacks... We have a hunting camp up there; this year; we did find some shed antlers from them...

EDIT: I found the song; my LEAST favorite selection for this Band...

Moose in New York? WOW, who would have thunk it? I stand corrected! Are they imported, though? :dontknow:

It's kind of an odd situation... The Department of Environmental Conservation seems to think that they swam over from Canada (eh...). They've also taken a strict "Hands-Off!" approach to them.
Another camp that also leases a spot near us, had a hunter see Brown; pull up, and drop one of them (This is about 20 years ago...) He tried to do the right thing, and called the D.E.C. to try and explain what happened, and that he had no idea that there were any Moose in the area.
New York State wasn't impressed ...
He ended up with a $5,000 dollar fine, and a lifetime loss of hunting privileges! :yikes:

We actually DID end up with one Moose making a trip down into our home Town...
"Too-Loose the Moose"; trekked in, and spent a summer wandering around here. The local cows were REALLY nervous!!! :roflblack:
Unfortunately; he swam across the Delaware River into Pennsylvania, and was shot! :gaah:
