• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wheel weights Maximum???

What is the maximum number of wheel weights that can legally be used to balance a tire? My new 2015 ST has 4 quarter ounce weights on one front wheel, and the other wheel has 20 quarter ounce weights:yikes:. No noticeable vibration so it must be balanced within some sort of a specification. But 20 seems excessive to me. Of course it is a KENDA marvel tire from the factorynojoke. Is there an allowed maximum number?? Thanks for any answers.

Wow, I do believe that you are the winner! I've seen as many as 14 on one Spyder wheel but never 20. :yikes: Sorry, I have no idea if there is a mandated maximum though.

Roadforce balance

Get the tires rebalanced by a tire shop with a Hunter roadforce balancing machine. The heavy spot on the rim and tire need tobe properly matched and aligned on the wheel. I had my tires roadforce balanced and have no weights on one side & half an ounce on the other.
Hope this helps.

Does sound like a lot:dontknow: guess you could visit another shop & ask them for second opinion. (Basically remount & balance see if they get same result) costly tho. & or get some ride on
http://www.ride-on.com & see if that will help your shop on balance :sour::popcorn: Hopefully it is just a rookie tech mistake or something simple, not the actual tire is that out of whack.
