• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wheel chocks

Cycle Wheel Chocks

How wide are your wheel chocks for your RT? Want to put a set in my trailer..

I use a set of PROMAX CYCLE CHOCKS Model 03-PMWC-01 on my DROPTAIL Trailer. I have used them on 2008 GS and now with my 2010 RT. Work great.
NOTE: I had to space them an additional 3" for Rt wider wheel width....

I just use a pair of cheapo Walmart, plastic RV chocks. I bolt them down to the trailer floor. The width isn't that important unless you use a closed loop type of chock. If you do, watch the fender clearance.

I had to tow only twice 80 miles each time to my dealer, I just strapped it down bye the book on my trailer, No movement at all.
But if your going to use chocks i would recommend you bolt them down.

I used a landscape timber (cut to fit) at the right point for the front wheels to be . Then bolted it down. I used another timber in back and used tie downs on screw eyes, front and rear for that. Then followed the book to tie the Spyder down.
Probably overkill, but having a vehicle come loose on airplane does that.

Just purchased a 7x12 enclosed Interstate trailer - extra height, brakes, E-traks, ramp door & side door for $3,500, brand new!!!!!:yes:

I am excited! This will haul my RT in dry seclusion, to whatever remote location my SO desires….:yes:

Sorry about that - more pics when it gets here.

Thought about the open trailers - definitely cheaper - but we wouldn't feel comfortable to lock her up and putter off to dinner, or whatever, in the cage. Hopefully, it will serve as planned… Three weeks & 6 days..

Those of you who have a SO who will jump on the back and ride to the destination are blessed - we will use the cage to get to the destination, and spend a couple of days exploring the area on the Spyder - ending up at the motel. But if I want to ryde with my SO, that's what's needed….

:agree:At our age now my wife and I are not jumping on a bike and riding a thousand miles. Some :shemademe_smilie:things are for younger folks. I am picking up a new Haulmark 7x14 next week and am going to do just what Dragon is doing.

Those are good rides except in July and August. It get's to hot down here in western Ariz. during those months. Will see you at Spyderfest.
