• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wheel alignment

On our Australian forum (Oz SpyderRyders), there are a number of posts about wheel alignment and how to do it. Can anyone here post some instructions and pictures (if possible) ? It appears to be a job that can be done at home but so far nobody has come up with any DIY instructions.

Thanks,
Robert

I have a video of it on my Facebook page, I just did it this weekend. You'll still need BUDS to correct the steering angle sensor.

Just out of curiousity, what indications are you finding that requires an alignment. We're at 25k in 16mo and rolling in a straight line. If it is tire wear, then rotating will sovle this issue. I've rotated 3 times and the front tires look almost new. It is a pain since they are directional, but it seems to work, also maintaining air pressure helps save the tire.{IMHO} Kenda front 25psi..Kuhmo rear 36psi

I beg to differ on this, rotating will mask the issue not solve it.....fixing the problem will solve it.....It's similar to what "Ambesol" does for teeth....it takes away the "PAIN", it does not fix the tooth......Rotating is like using "Ambesol"..........And when you consider what it costs to rotate against what a tire costs I don't think rotating is cost effect.......JIMHO.....Mike...

BUDS is the propietary BRP diagnostics system. It is not available to the public. You will have to see your dealer.

I'm sorry to neg that Scotty. I bought my own BUDS late last year. I find it very useful for those little things like resetting sensors as well as for looking through fault codes to figure out what needs attention.

If I can buy one here in Oz, you guys ought to be able to order them in sixteen different colours. :D

Pogo.

They aren't available here...at least not legally, updateable, or affordable.
