7.0 gallons
Is that 7 useable?
7.0 gallons
I have a 2021 RT Base when I drove it from Alabama to NJ at a steady pace of 72 MPH It would show on the display 240 -230 miles when I filled up . I think I got around 34 MPG.
I just purchased my 2022 Spyder RTL and at reserve light on with 3--- displayed i have traveled 188 mikes and take 5.1 gallons on fill-up. that would be a little over 35 MPG.
It says its a 7 gallon tank but doesn't appear to be and BRP wont answer my questions.
seeing we have a 7 gallon tank and at most fill ups i squeeze in 6.5 gallons, that means that guy is getting 50.769 MPG :roflblack:.
i ride my trike like a fat kid going after chocolate cake and i average mid to high 30's.
second though maybe he was on kilometers.
and please leave my grandma alone, how i write is exactly how i talk, full of errors, i spent my time in shop class not English.
I get a solid 35. I ride my spyder hard. I weigh 170lbs and the wife 125lbs. I run it hard with her on it as well. She ain't happy unless I do. I always run 5mph over the speed limit. I guess that's why I don't do group rides. I tried that and man, people just want to poke along. boring. lol
On my 2018 I think I got into the 30's a couple of times. BRP claims 40MPG. I would put over 5 gallons a lot.
On my 2022 I have over 300 miles and I'm averaging 23-25 MPG.
I'm hoping to get 35 MPG which makes my 300 mile trip with no gas stations doable
Another question for those that have the newer RTL, is your engine noisy?
It's much noisier than my 2018

Define noisy, I have the primary muffler delete and can record videos at highway speed and be heard clearly with no apparent engine noise.
That being said some helmets are noisier than others.
