• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's the Turning Radius of Spyder & Ryker?

Hey, I apologize in advance if this has been covered - but I haven't found it yet.
I've been trying to find the turning radius of both the F3 and the Ryker, with no luck. Not in the BRP web site, not in the scattered magazine test reports, nowhere.

Can anybody direct me to that info?

Thank you.

Make a u-turn and measure how wide it took. Divide by 2. That is your radius

Turning Radius

:coffee: I did the turning radius testing and came up with about 13 feet.
DO the Test in a large parking lot and SEE what you get.
I have a 2016 RTL......
PS: about 3 -10 feet small town street's to make the U-Turn. I usually go around the block if I miss the place. My 2....:banghead:

You just didn't see the turn radius in the specs because it is listed in acres. The Spyder is about double the turn radius of my old Harley Sportster trike.

BUT--- I feel much more confident making that hard , tight u-turn on my :spyder2: than I ever did on any motorcycle. AND-- you bet you go where you look.

Depends...

If in a hurry.... spin the back end and you can cut the radius way down.... F3 are easier to do with the relaxed nanny...:roflblack:

Yeah, I will spin it around on dirt, but I don't really like buying tires, so on asphalt it is a 3 point turn.

on the Ryker it is different (on mine ??) to make it left or right .. funy

Chirs, you must be a wild man on that thing!!!!:roflblack: When you have the girl on back, how black and blue are your ribs when you get home??
