There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. so what's that, 127 mph (205kph)

pretty wicked to see the speedo all the way to the top like that

Looked at a converion table, your estimate is correct 127.1 MPH

I wonder what it was taching at for RPMs at that speed. I am always looking for a 6th gear or overdrive on the highway, and I am not even close to that speed.

Almost 9 PM and still daylight?!? Left hand on the camera @ 127 miles/h? :dontknow:

That's exactly what I thought. they are probably on some kind of rolls so the bike is not moving. Not only the left hand is on the camera but it looks like the guy is looking at the meter too.:yikes:

Don't think so. Look at the reflection in the gauge, you can see him holding the camera and that sure looks like wind to me.

As far at the clock goes my clock is not set and I have no idea what time is on it, I use my GPS for a clock.

This is what I was thinking,, He had to be in the RED right?? Now that we are on this subject what is everyones speed when they are on the interstate? I am still under 600 miles so I am not pushing it to the level of interstate driving but I have been up to 73 for about 15 seconds is all,,, So tell me, once I get past the 600 mile break in period can I drive this thing 80 MPH on the interstate with no problems or is it pushing it to much cause thats what I normal run on my other bike? I'll be honest with you I look at the TACH more then my speed and if I remember correctly I think I was taching over 5 1/2 I'm thinking,, but again is 80 miles to fast once it gets broke in, constant freeway drive for long distances? Thanks in advance..
Joe

PS: Forgot to tell you--- This is just a normal STOCK spyder and I plan on keeping it that way for now..

Translation?

...Apparently

"A fond la caisse" translates as something like

"Hell-bent for leather..." :dontknow:

(Gotta say I wasn't comfy letting go with my left hand at high speed...I wonder.)

Neat! I have been 107mph according to my GPS. That's haulin'! But, 127mph is smokin'!

Note, the temperature gauge in the video. :yikes: 'Guess that's Celsius, though. :)

I didn't do a traditional break-in on my bike...I had to drive it back 80 miles when I bought it...on the highway...at highway speeds...oh well...so be it...the bike runs great...love it!

BRP says that the max hp is between 6-8000...so, unless you are there, you're not getting the max outa your bike...

Well, I have 36,000 Km's on mine since November 2007. I ryde every day. I'm not a hotdogger, but have been known to cover the 25 Km's from my house to Starbucks in around 12 minutes or less (lightly travelled road). I have taken my Spyder to 203 Km's an hour which is 126 Mph. I would say with reasonable confidence that removing the left hand from the bar, holding a camera, focusing in on the speedo... well that just takes the sort of guts I don't have. The top speed on my Spyder isn't quite in the red on the tach, it just seems to limit out. Now that I have the F1 windsheild, I can't seem to get it over 198km's.

A friend of mine had his up to 128-129 (indicated) last Saturday. I thought he was crazy. But it wasn't stock... had the race air flow filter and the TBR Juice Box in addition to some cool pipes. He thought the stock was slower by about 8 MPH. :joke:
