• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's the record for Most Ryker Miles achieved so far?

We’re at 5500 miles into the trip so far, and I’m having a great time. The battery went belly up, but I wasn’t too surprised since I’ve never heard a single good thing about Can Am’s factory batteries. Napa in Whitehorse had an ETX14L so I’m good. I’m at 9600 miles on the bike. Not a lot of miles, but some of these over the last couple weeks have been pretty mean.

Sounds like quite the journey. You're going to need to do a Ride Report when you get back.

Can-Am uses " Yuasa " batteries, and IMHO they are the best made for their price point..... It all depends on maintenance ..... My Yuasa batteries avg. about 6 years + ...... good luck .... Mike

I have a 2022 sport with 13418 with regular maintenance. Switched to iridium plugs and a gboost belt though.

Don't mean to thread jack.
But I am new to Rykers.
But what is a gboost belt and how is it different from a stock belt?

Nope mine was not a Yuasa, Mike. It was an oddball foreign name I’d never seen before and couldn’t begin to pronounce. I remember the days of the good Yuasa factory batteries too, you could count on those for a long time.

I have heard that a lot. In fact I know many people with 2021 spyders that have had theirs replaced. But I have the factory battery in my 2016 F3L and had the factory one in my 2016 F3t. Never put them on a tender and never had an issue cranking. I believe the one on my 2016 F3L is getting weak, but it is holding on. I try to ride at least once every 2 weeks.

I’m glad you asked Raven, the belt maintenance message popped up on my bike a couple of days ago, so I need to be looking into belt options, too.

Gboost is a brand of belts along with some other products. https://www.gboosttechnology.com/

My Can-Am factory battery was dead before I could get it off the shop floor when I went to pick it up. The mechanic said he had just test driven it that morning. They grabbed one from another new Ryker on the floor and it has been fine. Will have check and see the brand.

Oops, sorry for the hijack.
