• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's causing this Wobble while braking?

:agree: A mouthful of Truth! Stupid can sometimes be improved, but oblong tires will never B round!..Bill

I agree. Stupid can actually be fixed. It's just a saying that it can't. But Kendas? Not going to happen

I think all Spyder,s have some slack 1/4 to 1/2 inch ( at the handlebars ) in the steering mechanism. If you completely remove your hands from the bars, ( I have done this ) if the alignment is good the wheels/tires will track straight but the bars will shake a very small amount ..... Mike

we will see when i get the new Quatracs on next week.. time will tell..

got quadtracs mounted this am. and balanced.. very little tire weights comparded to OEM tires.. also shop used black weights.. like the looks. but not a good day to test them out, raining for 4 days straight.. cant wait to test them..

Fred alignment should NOT have anything to do with " amount of steering play " ..... the way the steering connection is made is why there is some play in it..... JMHO .... Mike

Just reading through this. All the Kenda hate, sheesh! I’ll reiterate, ive owned two late model Bombardier products both shod with Kenda tires (Ryker, RTL Spyder). No problems with tires. As for the OP here, I liked the lug nut suggestion but, I’ll bet it's a balance issue with one of the front tires, which the OP probably won't check since he has two new dark side tires to install; yet if it was mine, I’d go back to the dealer for a few checks before buying new hoops. That said, the dealer I used for both purchases wouldn’t let a motorcycle or a trike go out the front door with the aforementioned problem.

holy crap batman..lol... got out today with new quadtracs,, no wobble in handle-bars, zero... 100 % better handling, im speechless in how much better the bike rides,, and handles......

In my case on my '17 RTL it was a tie rod/ball joint. It had been at the dealership for a month before they picked it up (in their words "the computer says everything is ok"). They really dont like hard ABS inducing braking (where the rear wheel gets airborn) at hi speed. If you've had one of these episodes chances are you damaged something in the front end. Go for a warranty check.

I had the same problem on our 2022 RTL. Front brake rotor was warped at 2800 miles. Can AM wouldnt warranty said expendable part. I bought new EBC rotors, install myself problem solved.

IMHO .... in your case they absolutely should have ..... Question - did you notice the WOBBLE when you first got the Spyder ????? ..... Mike
