• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's a good replacement Battery for 2014 RTL?

All Yuasa batteries are back ordered. I have my bike in driveway, and can't even get in garage because emergency brake lock. Can the bike be jumped like a car, just to get it in garage? I'm really anal about keeping an eye on my bike. Also, Battery Tender Jr. is what I use.

You could always just release the Park Brake Cable at the rear wheel in order to let it roll freely! ;)

2 x 12 mm spanners & less than 5 minutes should see you sorted & your Spyder in the garage, altho it might pay to have a couple of chocks on hand, and maybe someone to help with pushing it - our Spyders aren't exactly lightweight!

If the battery is toast probably will not start even with a jump. You can hook up a jump pack to at least release the brake. Then push it into the garage.

I found a Banshee battery same size but with a 430 CCA and 4yr warranty. Less than $100.00. google Banshee battery to find it. I also have a NOCA jump starter in my frunk and the connector wire to battery hooked directly to battery and the connector stubbed out of battery cover. I also have a 10 gauge wire from battery along the side, under the Tupperware up to under the right speaker hooked to a BMW style plug receiver to plug in my cold weather jacket and pants.
