• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Whatever you do...don't run

It saddens me to see more anti-law enforcement comments than I'd like. The VAST MAJORITY of LE officers do, in fact, care about the people they are sworn to protect. The crap they put up with on almost a daily basis is appalling, yet most maintain their cool.

As in any other walk of life, there are bad apples. Unfortunately, in LE those bad apples are dangerous and lead to the entire community being tarred by that brush.

What one rarely sees in cases like this is the aftermath...what action was taken against the offending officer. It certainly doesn't excuse p-poor behavior but, believe me, the police don't like these offenders anymore than the public does.

:agree: Cops are not the 'bad guys'.

Wow!!

That was unnecessary and totally inappropriate. I mean the ONLY reason to shoot someone like the officer did would be if he was putting someone in immediate danger, like attacking someone or the officers, even then perhaps a tazer would be a better first option. He was stopped and looking back, not attacking anyone. That is horrible. I've never even thought about running from the law, but that worries me...my exhaust is loud!

Unfortunately, that isn't always true......

It is 99% of the time.

Pull over and obey them - if you disagree with the stop or the way you're treated--- you can have your say in court. Run from the cops and you're just asking for trouble.

When you get pulled over--- shut the bike or car off and keep both hands on the wheel or bars. Turn your radio off. If it's at night - turn your dome light on. Do not start digging around for your ID or registration. Wait until you are directed to do so. Don't cop an attitude. Yes Sir, No Sir are good answers to keep in mind. Be respectful and honest.

Too many cops get shot in the line of duty during 'ordinary' stops. Best to make sure they know you are NOT a threat.
