• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

whatcha think

Might just be the small speaker on the iPad but the sound sample sounds a little too high, like a harmonica. Train horns sound a lot lower, be interesting to hear your opinion if you fit one.

Very nice..!!

nice looking unit. To bad I just installed a bad boy. Thanks for the info..!!

Ouch

I seem to remember reading that that reading was taken at 1 foot. Maybe it was another horn with the same 139 dB rating. I'd sure make sure it was out in front of my riding position. I do like the idea of sounding something like a Norfolk and Southern freight loco :yikes:.

Ride safe,

The bad boy is virtually identiacal and is very LOUD. You can buy then at most auto stores in the basic black verions for less than this, no shipping and since when installed they are not seen the chrome seems to unneeded.

I'll be getting 2 of a similar unit that starts off softly for a .5 second beep and then goes ballistic at about same price.
