• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What year Spyder RT Ltd should I be looking at? We want a 1330??

I purchased it from a 70 year old couple. They bought it used from the dealership in Hurst Texas with 3k miles. They did not purchase the extended warranty.

They put 500 miles on it in the year they owned it.

Who do I check with to see if extended warranty is available? Are there any dealers on here that sell extended warranties?

Thanks to everyone for their input. I am stilled undecided but feel I will probably go with a 2020 or newer but if the right 2016-2017 pops up locally I may buy it.

I would like to stay under $23k but don't plan to buy anything until Mid January or later.
I just bought my 2024 RT Limited - used with 28 miles on the clock for $23K plus tax and license. There are a ton of good 2020+ Spyders available for well under your target number, if you don't mind a fly and ride, or can deal with one of the companies that will include shipping the bike to you. FB Marketplace and Cycle Trader are good starting points to see what's out there. I wanted one that still had some factory warranty available so that I could add on the B.E.S.T. warranty.

EDIT: I posted this before reading that you already purchased one. Congrats on your new ride.

As you know, the 2020 was a significant cosmetic change. In 2024 they updated/changed the display. The 2024 is a little weird in that it is capable of running a backup camera, but the rear fender is not built to accept the backup camera, so you either need an aftermarket camera or buy a 2025 rear fender to use the factory camera (the solution I picked). The 2020-2023 has an aux input to the factory infotainment system that went away with the 2024, so if that's important to you, keep it in mind.

Good luck with your search.
Welcome back to the family. I know the feeling of jumping between two and three wheels. I'm staying off two until I get really comfortable with three. Then I'll deal with the cognitive dissidence of 2 vs. 3.
