• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What year and how many miles on it.

08 GS

24,000 km ( 20,000 by me) , only changed the oil when needed , replaced the O2 sensor and one valve cover gasket that was seeping a little bit

Not there yet..

Not quite there yet. Just a little over 149,000. Been the coldest spring I can
remember. Needed some service work. Dealer had it 2 weeks.
Had the steering column replaced. Had some slop in steering.
Replaced rear shock air compressor. Second one.
Replaced master cylinder. Leak dripped on muffler, took the paint off.
All these things replaced under warranty. Anybody thinking of riding one
bike lots of miles should think of buying extended warranty. All the above
would have cost over $2000. I paid $150.
2014 Pearl White RT-S

Chuck

Buckeye Chuck has now reached the 150,000 mile mark, with his 2014 Spyder...

As for my meager riding oportunieites:
2010 RT a&C: 17,208 miles in four riding Seasons
2014 RT-L: 18,025 in just over three Seasons
2018 RT-L 28 miles as of right now...
(Our Season hasn't yet started...)

2012 RT L bought June 1 2015 with 8500 miles currently has 35,864. Winter in Utah this year has been very mild so I haven't really stored it much. Only warranty issue was the compressor. I use filters from BajaRon and Shell Rotella T6 or Valvoline T4 whatever is cheaper at the time. No leaks, minor usage (Vtwin). Added motorcycledave gel pad, very comfortable now. Added BajaRon sway bar and car tires up front, handling is as good as I need it to be for my riding habits. I really like this motorcycle,I can ride it much longer in a day then I could my RSV. Wish the gas mileage were better but it is better then the Honda Trike I had before. If I weren't so close to the end of my riding career,I would buy another in a heartbeat. I may anyway.

Had............2009 RS Sport Touring Edition - 12,500 miles
Have...........2011 RT Limited - 49,800 miles and counting!:ohyea:

2012 RT-L 33,000+ miles -- sold it and got a 2015 F3-S in Feb of 2015 and have 38,000+ trouble-free miles on it so far.

2014 rtl with 59000 miles great spyder Just traded for a 2018 rtl hope to pick it up this weekend, when the road,s clear up.

My signature has my previous Spyder mileage. I turned 20,000 yesterday on my 17 F3T SM-6 but that will be 22,000 by the weekend.

2013 RTL bought used in Fall of '16 with 8k, rode a little then 5 months hibernation, '17 brought me 14,000 miles in 7 months, still in hibernation since then. Gonna double that this year I hope, once the snow leaves MN.

maybe by June, supposedly another storm on the way. 8-12 inches expected here Friday... back to the topic: last April bought our first, a 2011 RTS. put 4800 miles on it before trading it in on the 2017 RT limited. a little over 200 miles on it so far (new). supposed to be in the 60's the next couple days so hope to get a couple good rides in the Hills before we get buried again. :banghead:

2013 STL new 0m May of 2014 @ 43,377m now ,just got back from Bayou:ohyea:longest trip was from Shreveport LA-southern most point Key West FL. Still has the '13 panels , not the option extra vent,
had a loose hose clamp issue covered by warranty & some odd tranny leak covered by extended warranty, farkles listed below  Plan on keeping till 100k miles at leastnojoke

51,000 on NEW Spyder, looking to double that by the time extended warranty expires. Then we'll see...

Still running the Altimax, which is right now exactly double the Kenda at 34,000. It should go a couple thousand more.

Bought my 2014 on 4th of July weekend in St Louis, having never sat on one. Rode it home to Upstate NY. I am currently at 38,000 and expect to be able to round
out the 10,000/year average by the holiday weekend this year. Altimax on the rear a couple of years ago. Two Vreds on this year. Otherwise basic maintenance only.

I don't see anything on the newer ones that I am missing on my '14 so I will wait to "trade up".
