I stopped at the local spyder watering hole to fill up and noticed they had non-ethynol gas for a slightly higher price.
What do you think is better?
- 83 octane - Non-ethynol
- 83 octane with ethynol
- 87 octane with ethynol
- 93 octane with ethynol
- rocket fuel

We are sensitive to ethanol gas in boats too. Not so much the affinity for waterQUOTE]
 Boats don't like water??? :roflblack: Oh... just the fuel! Got it!
I run 93 octane that's got ethanol...

Some truth to that, too, Bob. My boats actually run just above the water with as little in the water as I can as water=friction and lack of friction= FAST![]()
I have never see below 87 octane in my life and I am now 41 that said the OM says not to use less than 87 octane, also rule of thumb non-ethynol will get better fule mileage. I use 87 non-ethynol it is 13 cents more than 89 with ethynol but get 4 more miles per gallon.
