There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I've had some good results getting a finish decontaminated with a clay bar. Certainly, the whole process goes faster than polishing compound. I'm still leaning toward the polishing compound being more thorough though.
I wonder if there's a certain type of clay they use for autos, and can I get it in bulk at Hobby Lobby or Michael's or something. They're asking way to much for the bars at auto stores.

This is why smart folks don't use a Cover while trailering .... if the cover moves even slightly it can / will cause a paint scuff ..... and :agree: about trying a polishing compound .... star with the least abrasive, using only a little pressure, increase pressure if needed, if that doesn't do it, go up one in abrasiveness ..... I would clear coat before waxing ..... good luck .... Mike :thumbup:
