• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. ***** What Tires are on YOUR Spyder - Details Please *****

2014 RTS Se6
Front tires Federal Formoza 165/R55 75V
Rear tire General Altimax RT43 215/60R 15

This is the same as I run on my 2019 RT. I have about 20,000 miles on my rear now and just received an other General to replace it. I have used these tires on my 2015 RT and now my 2019.

I just ordered 165/60/15 Vredestein tires for my 2018 Spyder Lt.

Please see the reminder below from the opening post of this sticky - if you want to keep the sticky here &/or going, please post accordingly.

There's been a lot of talk about a sticky for tires. The purpose of this thread is to create a place for you to share your information.
...
I'll start:
Spyder: 2020 RTL
Type of Riding: Mostly touring. Not terribly aggressive.
Suspension: RonBar, Laser Alignment
Front Tires: Kumho Solus KH16 175/55/15, set to 17 PSI
Rear Tire: Cooper Mastercraft LSR Grand Touring 215/60/15, set to 26 PSI
Current Mileage: About 12,000 miles. They still look brand new.

Comments: Bought the tires for my previous Spyder and put about 6,000 miles on them. I liked them so much I had them transferred to my 2020 RTL before delivery.
The tires, alignment and RonBar were all installed by Netzley Tire in Accord New York. I'm very pleased with the tires and Remarkably Pleased with Netzley Tire.

2014 RTS-SE6

Front tires: 165/60 R15 Continental Contiprocontact

Rear tire: 215/60 R15 General Altimax RT 43 running 26 PSI

Deanna

2017 F3T Se6
Front tires 175/55R-15 Vredestein Quatrac SL 18psi
Rear tire General Altimax RT43 215/60R 15 22psi

2020 F3Ltd, Rabbit (Sydney) sway bar.
Third set of Kendas fitted yesterday, early because of a long three week ryde coming up.
Mixed riding, vigorous 75%, local and freeway 25%.
Fronts 17PSI and over 30k Km between changes.
Rear 22-24 PSi with 20k km between changes.
For two-up ryding the rear tyre is adjusted higher to Spyder manual specs.
Very happy.

Update: Following a few long overnighters and 6742km Black Dog ride my rear is now down to 20PSI with the fronts on 17PSI. Kendas are serving me well with grip and acceptable life, not less than shown above.

Spyder: 2014 RTL
Type of Riding: Mostly day rides up to 350 miles & running local errands. Not terribly aggressive.
Suspension: RonBar, Laser Alignment
Front Tires: Kenda OEM 165/55/15, set to 20 PSI
Rear Tire: Yokohama Avid Envigor 205/65/15, set to 26 PSI
Current Mileage: rear 9400 miles. Middle is done. Fronts still have some life left at 18K

Comments: Changing front and rear at 18031 with Hankooks -- Kenergy S Touring on the rear -- Ventus V4 ES on the front.

EDIT/extra comment: I figure the poor mileage on the Yokohama was due to the higher pressure I ran. The edges still looked new while the middle was worn to the bars. Going to run these Hankooks at a lower pressure to see what happens.

Here are the Hankooks.

Please, this thread is JUST for members to post up the details of what tires they are running & how successfully for all to see, preferably in the style/format shown in the first post of the thread/as used by Fjrwillie & CruisinTx above -

NO OTHER DISCUSSION will be allowed to remain!:lecturef_smilie:

We don't want to dilute the value of the thread as a detailed resource/list &/or let it degenerate into juuust another tire thread that's branching off into talking about tires & brands & treads & pressures, or whatever, it is JUST for members to post the details as outlined of WHAT they are using in the format shown! And no matter how hard it is to resist the temptation, ANY other discussion &/or recommendations should be taken elsewhere or conducted via PM! IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE HERE! :banghead:

Thank You!

Spyder: 2016 F3-T
Type of Riding: Mostly solo, Touring and aggressive and/or spirited
Suspension: Baha Ron sway bar, Elka front shocks, Laser Alignment
Front Tires: Vredestein Quatrac 5 175/55 R15 - Set to 18psi
Rear Tire: Yokohama Advan Fleva v701 205/55 R15 - Set to 28psi
Current Mileage: 25,552 as of Saturday

Comments: My OEM rear tire made it to about 12k miles and even though the fronts were fine, I changed them all out. After 13k miles on the setup listed above, the fronts are still in great shape and corner amazingly well. The Yokohama on the rear, however, did not have the traction I hoped and did not hold up well. I'm now on the hunt for a new rear tire.

K20 tires

I just put on a new K20 on my 2017 RTS. I will let all know next year as to how they hold up. So far the rear tire is exceptionally smooth and has great grip.
