I just don't understand why people feel that just because they don't agree with or like something that they have to attempt to make a big stink over it.
Perhaps we should look at a situation like this: SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO OVER LOOK IGNORANCE.

At least she had the courage of her convictions. But it's interesting that the name of the Christmas tree ceremony was that important to her. I'd think there were things that were more impactful of people's lives that she'd take a stand on.

As to the name of the tree, there wouldn't be any "holiday" trees if not for Christmas!

I believe that people are getting very tired of political correctness. There have been other events in local news where city council members have voted to keep prayer prior to meeting. Look at the local police agencies who are putting "In God we trust" on patrol cars. Then there are the signs showing up in businesses declaring "Merry Christmas". This, or was, a free country. If you don't like something or something offends you, suck it up and move on or go to your safe place and sulk. For crap sake people, grow up. There are far more worse things in this world to be upset about. Christmas has been around since Christ was a baby. It ain't going away anytime soon.
