• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What the heck do you do with the key ?

I can't believe ther's no hole in it. How do you hang it up. How do you put it on a key ring ? How do you keep from losing it if it has to be an individual key separate from your other keys ?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Did you get the holders with your keys? The holders go on your keyring, should have 2 holders and 2 keys.

Holders???

If I got a holder, I did not recognize it. :hun:
Will discuss with dealer!! It has been a challenge keeping up with the key.

I have found the sheaths hold the key very well. I had to have the locks replaced on my RT & still have one of the old keys. I plan to dissect it someday to determine where/how the chip is embedded for possibly drilling a hole later in my current keys, although the way it is now, there's nothing attached to the key to scratch the area around the ignition switch (like on my Goldwing).

Take a look at these pics of the key sheath & maybe you'll find you have them but didn't know what they were...

the key holder is great, it really works! I have the spare clipped to a specific spot on my motorcycle jacket( I could tell you exactly where, but then I would have to kill ya):D so i won,t get stranded because of a lost key.

Mark,
Thanks immensely for the pictures. Went back and opened envelope where I had filed the papers and spare key and :2thumbs:

The correct word is duh

If you wear jeans put your key in the small pocket in the right hand pocket. Commonly known as the watch pocket. It's just the right size for the key. It's now known as the Spyder pocket.:ohyea:

I drilled a hole in mine, in the far back, works great, I had the extra in case of all the warnings about electronics withe keys and crap but mine works great. there is a pic on here somewhere

drill

I drilled mine and put a small leather weave on it so I can find it and pull it out of my pocket with my gloves on.
