• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What size & thread type are 2021 Handle Bar Bolts?

The handle bar bolts on my 2021 Spyder RTL are longer than on my 2018. What size are they and SAE or Metric?

There are NO SAE fastners on Spyders. None. All are metric.

Unlike Harley that uses an infuriating mix of both.

If you can get one out, take it to a hardware store that has the free to use thread gauges in the nut and bolt aisle. I know Menards has them for customers to test thread gauge and pitch.

They are M10 x 1.5, and not really all that tight on my 2021 RTL, but do have a locking compound on them. I replaced one with a long stud and coupling nut with about 1/2 of the hex cut down on my lathe, then mounted it (with blue locktite) in place of one with a RAM ball screwed in it. Worked great to mount my GPS.
