• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What should I expect

I'm sitting at about 7,800 miles on the spyder and due(a little overdue) for a service. What should I expect at this service? One dealer I talked to said plugs and plug wires, oil, transmission fluid. What all is due?

service

why do the plugs and wires need to be replace? if i where you i would call Pittbull motor sports they will give you the right answer.

Transmission fluid is same as oil. I changed plugs and wires at 12000. Go to Pitt Bull if its not too far.

The maintenance schedule is in your manual. If your dealer proposes anything that is not due, according to that schedule, ask them why...or find another dealer.

I also find it very interesting they would tell you they need to change the transmission fluid. As stated earlier, the engine and transmission share the same oil. Now, with that said, changing the transmission filter is a must during the oil change process for the SE5.
